Although I pride myself on the skills found in a typical marketing and promotions workplace, the truth is that I love getting involved in anything creative. My education started with a focus in fine arts, where I was exposed to illustration, painting, sculpting and photography — all of which enhance my skillset in the digital world today.

DIGITAL 3D RENDER
ASSIGNMENT: Create a glossy promotion for an upcoming line of candles. Develop a company logo that could be used in conjunction with the product itself, which was currently in development. Superimpose said logo on the product for customer approval and feedback.

Women in the Outdoors
PEN & INK ILLUSTRATION
ASSIGNMENT: Develop a series of hand-drawn illustrations for an outdoors guide devoted to women. Base illustrations on photographs supplied by the author. Use traditional pen & ink techniques for high-resolution scanning by the publisher.

UFO Crash Scene
HOLIDAY DISPLAY
ASSIGNMENT: Produce a life-size UFO crash scene for a community college Halloween fundraiser event. Include multiple aliens along with lighting and sound effects, if possible. Utilize repurposed materials to keep costs minimal. Fabricate all elements so they may be collapsed and fit into a van for transport.

EXPLANATION: An example of an in house monitor design setup that required zoning multiple areas of the display for different content, as well as designing the shells for each zone itself.

Handy Wand
PERFORMANCE
ASSIGNMENT: Act out the part of an infomercial pitchman selling a magical wand. Read script from a teleprompter using a 2-camera setup.
